Upcoming Events for the 60th Anniversary of the Sebring 12 Hour Classic at Sebring International Raceway

Next week the 60th anniversary of the twelve hour endurance racing classic will take place at the birthplace of endurance racing, Sebring International Raceway. It will also open the FIA World Endurance Championship that includes such legendary road course circuits as Spa, Le Mans and Silverstone. The addition of the FIA sanctioned race will bring 34 more cars to the entry list circuit. Sebring hosted the first ever round of the FIA World Championship for Sports Cars, back in 1953.
Fans attending the event will have numerous activities such as the ALMS/WEC Autograph Session at noon on Friday. Other activities include the Hairpin Spin charity event, Wednesday 3/14, at the Chateau Elan, benefiting the Humane Society and Hall of Fame. Team Chevy will be hosting a test Drive Friday and Saturday outside turn 17. Participants will receive a 60th Anniversary Corvette T-shirt. A Spring Break Party Zone with a Fitness challenge 11am to 2 pm on Friday.
Gates open at 6 am on Wednesday, March 14th for the 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida. The 12-hour classic starts at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 17th.
