If you’re after classic motorsport in a jaw-dropping location, the Bernina Gran Turismo is hard to beat. The hillclimb’s 5.7km route takes in more than 50 corners as it climbs around 450m into the clouds on the closed-road event.

And, as you can see from this photo, the entrants only add to the visual spectacle, classic racing and sports cars built up to 1990 eligible to compete.

This year will be the event’s eighth running and it is sure to once more thrill competitors and spectators alike.
